Animation is an illusion of
motion created by displaying a series of images
through frames. Animation can be found in cartoons
on television, film, video, computer games, learning
materials, advertisements, visualization of scientific
publications, reproductions, templates, logos
etc. An animation can be digitized video, computer-generated
graphics, or a combination.
An animation is a sequence of drawings. The
series of drawings are linked together and they
are usually photographed by a camera. The drawings
have been a little changed between individualized
frames. When they are played back in rapid progression
there appears to be faultless movement within
the drawings. Animation is a sequence of drawings
that show an action, frame-by-frame, movement-by-movement.
Animation can be explained as moving video
consisted of individual frames of graphic art.
Cartoons and computer generated images would
be examples of animation. This may be a jumping
boy in pond, a dropping football on ground and
a running car on road etc.
Animation is very apparent in our lives. These
are created for amusement, education, advertisement,
and many technical sequences. Graphics file
formats as GIF, SVG, MNG and Flash allow animation
to be viewed on a computer or over the internet.
